Yes. Our reception includes a sit-down dinner for which the precise number of guests and food selections are required by a set deadline.

Yes, Jen's Guesthouse is wheelchair accessible, with features including a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking, restroom, and seating.

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held in the restaurant's beautiful outdoor patio. Dinner will be served indoors.

During the cocktail hour, hors d'oeuvres will be served, followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. The restaurant will offer four dishes to choose from, including one vegetarian option.
Your entree selection and dietary restrictions are collected within our RSVP form. To help us coordinate with the restaurant, we kindly request that your RSVP be submitted by September 7th.

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout the cocktail hour and after the dinner hour.

We plan to dance the night away until 12 am. Our DJ will be turning up the music and ready for you all to "bust a move."

Our dress code is semi-formal attire, such as a cocktail-length dress, dressy separates, or a suit and tie. While we, too, love our comfy clothes, sorry, no jeans or sneakers.

The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Our wedding will be an adults-only event, with the exception of the children in our wedding party.

We have a block of rooms reserved at one hotel, the Crowne Plaza in Burr Ridge, Illinois. For more info, see our accommodations page.

Yes. The last day to make a reservation under the Ortiz/Saucedo room block at the Crowne Plaza hotel is Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 5 pm CST.
Will there be a shuttle to/from the hotel for the wedding event?

We anticipate the hotel's shuttle to be available. However, this is determined by the minimum number of rooms booked under the hotel block as per the hotel's policy.
We will provide updates regarding the shuttle via this website.
Alternatively, ride-share options, such as Uber and Lyft, are offered in the area.

Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) is the closest airport. The hotel and wedding venue are easily accessible from MDW via taxi or ride share.
